What can be expected in the treatment?

Firstly, it is extremely gentle.  Children love this technique. The weight of a 10 cent coin –5 grams-  is the pressure used to achieve results and this will improve conditions.

How can this change things?
Lets explain. If you pull a seat belt out quickly and firmly it will resist and lock BUT if you ever so gently pull it out, it will extend to its maximum.

The same with the body. If you ever so gently –5grams- move a bone or joint you will beat the resistance mechanism, the joint and ligament will not resist, and change can be created. So the aim is to create NORMAL FUNCTION in the body, and the body will set about and regulate itself, symptoms will  start to  reduce quite quickly.
Craniosacral balancing is a form of hands-on body work. There has usually been some assault to the head or neck i.e., whiplash accidents, physical violence, birth traumas with foetal distress- forceps deliveries- suction- emergency caesarean. Within in the head the primary nervous system develops–  first the brain-,this then extends and becomes the spinal cord, finishing at the tailbone. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flows up and down within these membranes inside the skeleton and headbones(cranial). It bathes and nourishes your brain and nervous system. This wave like rhythm can be felt all over the body just like breathing and heartbeat.

The CFS pulses at about 10-12 cycles a minute - we call this the craniosacral rhythm. This vital system affects the performance of the BRAIN and SPINAL CORD this imbalance can potentially cause any number of problems.

Chronic problems can be relieved by this technique while releasing any left over effects of past injuries and emotional traumas. You will find you’ll be able to deeply relax. Some symptoms experienced maybe mild, others quite severe.

Conditions frequently treated
Learning Difficulties - Dyslexia (jumbled letters)
                                Dyscalcia(poor maths)
Chronic Back pain, - Disc fusions, Scoliosis, Harrington Rods.
Brain Traumas and Spinal Injuries - accidents and whiplash.
Eye difficulties - poor reading, cross eyed, poor eye control.
Jaw clicking, cannot open jaw, bite problems, grinding teeth.
Ears. Frequent infections, poor hearing Tinnitus, (not Industrial) Vertigo.
Traumatic Births - Inductions, emergency caesarean, forceps deliveries.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorders.
ADH Children - with behavioural problems.
Autism.
What do they all have in common?
                The brain,
                The bones of the scull
                The spinal cord
                The skeleton
                 .... are all involved

So starting to "free up" movement in the head bones (cranial bones)
- changes will begin and conditions will reduce.
As I said previously children  love this technique, and a lot of this work is done for them.
